Makeshift Stairs Wobbles Under Weight of World Cup Fans
The state of completion of Brazil’s stadiums and infrastructure was the subject of much debate in the run-up to the World Cup. This video suggests the concerns were justified. It shows a makeshift staircase shaking under the weight of fans as they made their way from a metro station towards the iconic Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro for the June 15 match between Bosnia-Herzegovina and Argentina.
