A proposed bill in New Jersey would give police officers the ability to ask for your cell phone after a crash to see if you were texting right before the crash. When asked by a reporter whether or not they agree with the proposal, most drivers seem very willing to give their phone to an officer. But one official wonders if their opinion would change if they were actually facing the situation in real life.
