The Obama administration revealed Wednesday that fewer than 27,000 people signed up for private health insurance in the 36 states relying on HealthCare.gov. Meantime lawmakers grilled the White House's IT chief about the troubled site. (Nov. 13)
Drm: Sorry, Donny. I over 50. I was born in DC. Still live 4 miles outside the city. I've walked every square foot of the area between the Monument and the Capitol. Been to easily over a hundred Mall events, including several inaugurations. I work in TV production and have worked with those same shots for years. I know what the Mall looks like from the air, on TV, and in photos. After the swearing in was over and people started to leave, I saw live interviews with the departing visitors. To anyone who knows that area like me, it was painfully obvious that the crowds were smaller than other Mall events, including the other inaugurations.
