Lalu slams Nitish over misgovernance in Bihar

RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav today slammed Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar by accusing his government of misgovernance and widespread corruption in the state. Speaking to media persons in Patna, Lalu said that Kumar and his government no longer held popular mandate as there was no law and order in the state. Lalu who ruled Bihar as chief minister from 1990 till 1997 and also faced criticism for lawlessness during his leadership, further trained guns at the current state government. He accused Nitish Kumar of being arrogant and indifferent to the woes of the people. Lalu is going all out against the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Janata Dal- United JD (U) coalition in order to regain the people's trust ahead of 2014 polls.
