Kerry praises Caroline Kennedy, newly appointed ambassador to Japan


US Secretary of State John Kerry spoke at a reception on November 12 in honor of newly appointed US Ambassador to Japan Caroline Kennedy at the Japanese Ambassador’s residence in Washington, DC. Said Kerry, “I think everybody here would agree that she has superbly carried into public life and her life the ethos of her family…which is reach out beyond yourself, live beyond your own persona in an effort to try to make a difference.”
