A jury ruled in favor of Christa Dias Monday afternoon. The jury agreed that the Archdiocese of Cincinnati did discriminate against Dias when she was fired after disclosing that she was pregnant via artificial insemination.
Scott: The FBI does NOT have the authority to "exonerate" ANYONE! Legally, ALL they can do is investigate, and present any evidence found- in either direction- to the Attorney General, who will then decide on a course of action- prosecute, charge, or refuse action due to a lack of evidence. So- a Director of the FBI who does attempt to "write a letter exonerating" the subject of an investigation is thereby committing a crime, and acting WITHOUT proper authority, and should thus be charged himself!
