N2NXZ: This is nothing more but fact.Take it anyway you want. I grew up in Rochester,NY.Downtown was always packed with hustle and bustle with brief case carrying men in suits and ties.I have many photos as a youth showing this in the back ground.Buildings were clean and open for business. We lived about 2 miles from downtown as did 1000`s of others. We walked to school @ 5 years old and without a parent by first grade. The homes were clean well kept and nicely groomed lawns and shrubs. Street cleaners up and down the streets daily. We played on our block and never feared getting murdered. It just never happened or was very rare and huge news if there was. Now,2016 you will never see me walk down that same street(s). Half the homes are boarded up or just empty lots where homes once sat.Homes that survive are rentals falling apart with yards unattended. Most of the yards are dirt worn paths and weeds.Downtown has half the activity and business it used to be.Many of the buildings are condemned and falling apart.Just an eyesore but to me a reminder of a past civilization. When America was a leader in the world. The most cars in one parking lot is the social services building.Never a vacant parking spot and ironically, lots of expensive cars in and out of it. Shattered bottles line the sidewalks so riding a bicycle is nearly impossible.I tried that a few times each ending with a flat tire. Main street is lined with non working people waiting for a bus most likely using "tokens" which are given for free. The police are working hard to curb violence on a daily basis. Hollywood actually use out city to film Spiderman movie. I guess they selected our city since there is nothi8ng really to disturb by closing it down a few months. That tells you something. During this time, some of the employees were robbed or assaulted. Bottom line is anyone knows why it is this way.It does not take CNN or FOX news to tell anyone why our cities ended up this way. Plain as the nose on your faces you just have to admit it.
