Ray: Slavery and slavers have been around since one ethnic group or tribe subjugated another. This is not a western or "white" issue. Slavery still exists in Africa, perpetrated by one ethnic tribe over another. If Black African Americans want their reparations, they can get it, with a one way ticket back and spending money, no questions asked. With today's DNA advances their passage back can be pinpointed to where exactly they came from. I'm sure they will be lining up in droves to get back to their roots. Mind you, it is doubtful they will be welcomed back to their homeland with open arms. Africans have been the world's most coddled group, due of course to the endless guilt trip perpetrated by the likes of these so called "working groups" and of course the ever pliant press to help forment such idiocy. Perhaps the UN could focus on Africa itself, an endless basket case of shattered economies, that have cost the world trillions of dollars. Perhaps they can repay those families, who's brothers and sisters were murdered in the Rwanda genocide. Oh right the ethnic cleansing there probably meant there were very few survivors. How about fixing Zimbabwe, formerly Rhodesian. Once those evil whites were run out their country, Zimbabwe went from the "bread basket of Africa" to the economic basket case of Africa run by a gangster. Or how about Uganda, where Indians who lived their were slaughtered by the blacks. There are so many stories it simply doesn't end. South African miners shot dead by the police, not 30 years ago, but just a year or two ago. Apparently, like in the US blacks killing blacks is tacitly accepted. It's those evil white we have to worry about. Without slavery, Black Africans would still be in Africa and no where else, possibly living like we treat lost tribes today, a cultural curiosity. There would be no billions and billions of guilt money coming from Europe as well. They would't culturally appropriate european technology and would be basically living a stone age existence, like the amazon tribes. They wouldn't be in the America's or South America. In fact, it is likely that without slavery, Black Africans wouldn't have migrated very far. If your not happy today with your lot in life, go somewhere else. The reparations canard could go on until we retrace life back almost prehistoric times.
