Group Provides Free Bicycles To Area Children

Two local businessmen are using their resources to give back to hundreds of children in Kern County. They are putting together a drive that not only promises a special gift this holiday season, but also promotes health and fitness. Owners of Jim’s Towing and Western Mechanical in Bakersfield started their first drive five years ago with 60 bicycles and now they have four hundred that are going to some lucky young people.
