Andy Field has the story.
Gregg: "A second night of mostly peaceful protests . . ." Translation: cars set on fire, windows smashed, stores looted, policemen and white bystanders attacked . . . exactly what happened during the parts of this that weren't "peaceful"? Law-abiding taxpayers have grown tired of "mostly peaceful protests" as well as those taking the side of violent criminals over police officers. Specifically relevant to this case: someone who reaches in his pockets when policemen have told him to freeze, and pulls something out and assumes a stance as if he's going to shoot them, is someone who sure appears to be violent and planning to take lives. Whether he is mentally ill is absolutely irrelevant to me, and if he murders people, in my opinion mental illness should not be a mitigating circumstance.
