A girl had been confined in a shanty and gang-raped by five unidentified youths for a week in Ranipur area of Haridwar
tatittle: It may be TECHNICALLY true that Stop/frisk was ruled unconstitutional, but it was only TEMORARILY ruled such by a LOWER COURT judge. It was not a final, unappealable decision, thus in our system it is effectively a temporary decision until greater authorities (courts) rule on the matter. Gay marriage would be unconstitutional under the logic liberals are using (lower court decisions). Until the SUPREME COURT rules on it, the Constitutionally is actually still in question. The new NYC mayor refused to bring the case to the higher courts, so we still do not know whether it is Constitutional or not truly. Clinton and the liberals are hoping the numbskull public will think it has recievied a final ruling, it has definitely not. Nobody in NYC will argue Stop/frisk did not dramatically change the City (less crime), the changes that took place there under Guiliani were nothing short of miraculous...Rivington St. went from a 24/7 open air heroin market to million dollar yuppie housing e.g. Nobody would have envisioned that as even possible back in the 1980's. You wanna argue its not worth the infringement on civil rights fine, but to say it was "ineffective" is laughable to those who were there.
