Garces boys advance to Saturday's title game
Sheldon Croney scored 26 points, including the tying basket to send the game into overtime in the Garces Rams 90-88 overtime win over Tulare Mission-Oak in the semifinals of the Garces Holiday Hoops Challenge Friday night at Garces High. Croney got a rebound and layup of teammate Justin Gapper's missed jumper with three seconds left to send the game to overtime tied at 75. Croney scored six points in the extra frame to help the Rams advance to Saturday night's final against Independence.
