Freethinker: Trump as TV theater is like watching reruns of ANY Trump rally ever ... nothing changes. Same look, same crowds, same uninformed bluster and random, unconnected thought gusts. Speechwriters? C'mon, only Trump puts words in Trump's mouth, which spits them out from a brain locked in permanent shuffle mode. Since I myself have never actually and personally seen Donald Trump in public anywhere, I swear that I'm beginning to think that the guy has ceased to exist in a corporeal (physical body) form anymore and the mediacs now just endlessly loop old Trump footage 'cause that's what the 24/7 news business does, and it's cheaper. Trump's words, bitter and bleak as they may be, aren't as important as what is plain to see for anyone who cares to really look at and listen to Donald Trump on the stump. Trump's "candidacy" is little more than a painful ... even embarrassing ... public cry for help as this eternal hustler pursues an end to his inner pain, misery and richly deserved feelings of self-loathing and despair. Trump KNOWS he's a phony and he lives in deadly fear that everyone else will come to know it as well. Which is why all of his excruciating bragging and hyperbole and over-the-top nastiness. Trump CAN'T be just a regular dude because then his profound emptiness would be exposed. So Trump has jumped onto the biggest stage in the world because it's the one last place he thinks he can hide from himself. But even a run for the U.S. presidency can't spare him, a 70-year-old man who thinks of himself as a name. And Trump's dad died of Alzheimer's, a certainty for him as well. No more crowds, no more TV, no more self-importance, no more Donald Trump. None of our own Trump loathing, no matter how extreme, could ever possibly compare to the self-disgust the guy obviously feels ... to his depths. If you don't believe me, then you're not paying attention to the most obvious thing about Donald Trump: The man's got in him a YOOJ! mean streak. And you don't have to be a psych major to figure out what that means. Humans have evolved over the eons to pick up ALL communications from others, not just the words but the tone of voice, body language, appearance, etc. It ALL matters when we evaluate one another, and that's because reading other people correctly is how we stay alive. Kids especially watching Trump on the tube understand Trump's meanness immediately. Vulnerable people quickly notice when other vulnerable people get openly attacked by angry men. Too many of the too, too young understand where harsh words too often lead ... Very simply, Trump scares people (Trump included). Ask any child.
