Three people -- including an 8-year-old boy -- were killed and at least 130 injured when two bombs exploded near the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Monday.
Bruce: Trump has yet to learn the three words that every soldier, sailor, marine, airman and coast guardsman hold sacred from the day they enlist until discharge, retirement or death on the battlefield-- DUTY, HONOR, COUNTRY. Our oath is to defend the constitution and its' laws against all enemies and we take that oath freely without MENTAL RESERVATION. We let the military medics determine whether we are fit for duty not some baby doctor. When I enlisted that was my answer to a call by President John F. Kennedy on Jan 20, 1961 he said "Ask not what your country can do for you ask what you can do for your country." The second time I took an oath to support and defend the constitution was on Jan 29, 1979 as a federal police officer. My reasons were the same I was doing for my country. On Sept 11, 2001 my mission was the same my sacrifice was the same only here at home. The three words I held sacred as an USAF airman meant as much in 2001 as 1969 when I enlisted and now as a veteran. I have proudly put my life on the line for over 40 years for this country that welcomed my grandparents and great-grandparents to its' shores.
