CNBC's Steve Liesman discusses expectations for the Fed; and Kenny Polcari, O'Neil Securities, and CNBC's Bob Pisani, break down how the market is anticipating the Fed.
Davi: The US split in two and fought the Civil War primarily to free the slaves. It is sad that it took so long but in the 1960's we recognized that the system of racial segregation was a failure and we instituted a long and continuing policy of integration and affirmative action. We also established a welfare policy that while not specifically racist, does provides substantial economic and social support to people that for what ever reason have not been able to support their self in our social and economic system. Clearly there is more to do and racists beliefs are far too common in individuals but the human rights of descendants of slaves are actually well protected in law. To claim that this country has not made significant efforts and progress in providing fair treatment of the descendants of slaves is just wrong.
