Egyptian prez visits India to boost cultural, trade and tourism ties

Egyptian President, Mohamed Morsi was accorded ceremonial welcome at the Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi on Tuesday at the start of his three-day visit to India aimed at boosting bilateral cultural, trade and tourism ties. He was received by President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. He inspected the guard of honour and also met members of the Cabinet. Morsi is leading a high-level delegation of business leaders and ministers, including the ministers of communications, information technology, trade, commerce and investment. During his stay in New Delhi, Morsi will hold delegation-level talks with Dr. Singh.
