Drug Take Back Program Aims To End Abuse

In an effort to limit drug abuse, and stop kids from trying prescription drugs in the first place, one county in the Seattle area has approved a drug take back program that will be fully funded by pharmaceutical programs that are selling the drugs in the first place. One first responder spearheaded the campaign after seeing numerous overdose deaths, including the death of his own son. Officials hope this will limit pill use, as well as use of harder drugs such as heroin.
