Differences with Mauritius on Double tax agreement reduced: Pranab

Ending his three-day state visit to Mauritius, President, Pranab Mukherjee on Thursday said that both countries were now a step closer to sign the Double Tax Avoidance Agreement (DTAA), while stressing on India's willingness to invest in Mauritius. Speaking to mediapersons onboard, while returning from Mauritius, Mukherjee said that after two rounds of meeting between the special committees of both nations, they have narrowed down the areas of difference and can resolve them through dialogue. India and Mauritius signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in sectors of health and medicine, tourism as well as increase cooperation on providing assistance to senior citizens and persons.
