Folks got a look at Dan Forest in campaign ads before the election, but since then he's been all but invisible to the public.
daniel s: The "liberal" media is so intent on not appearing biased that they aren't doing their job in calling Trump on this bogus re-boot. No president in American history has ever been reluctant to deport foreign nationals, documented or not, who commit crimes. Saying he will do it from Day One is as hollow and impractical as saying he would deport 11 million. In typical Trump fashion, he suggests the difference between he and Hillary is that she wants an "open border" or "amnesty" (something she has never suggested). But, in fact, his new concept on immigration varies very little from that of the Democrats and other bi-partisan proposals -- a path to legal residency, if not full citizenship. Only the details of implementation separate the parties currently. Trump has built his entire campaign on a nativist appeal to make America white again (as evidenced by his supporters and a new book by Ann Coulter). Anyone who dares to call this a "pivot" is mocking reality.
