Daily Digit: In the wake of #MeToo, how many people have been publicly accused?
Daily Digit is the story behind the numbers that make our world work. Today we’re looking at the #MeToo movement. Since the movement began, at least 425 people have been accused of sexual misconduct. The hashtag started a movement, and gave women and men the opportunity to speak up. Many people accused resigned, were fired or faced other consequences. Others have managed to avoid any consequences, and kept their power or stardom. Hopefully, the movement will see the end of sexual misconduct.
