BC Wins State Title With Win Over CCSF

Bakersfield College won its first official state football title with a 35-14 win over City College of San Francisco Saturday afternoon at Memorial Stadium. The Renegades took a 28-7 lead into halftime on the strength of touchdown runs of nine yards from Curtis McGregor and 42 yards by Jalen Sykes, also voted the Offensive Player of the Game.
