Richard: Years ago, there was a made-for-TV movie about people living on a huge orbiting satellite. A televised debate over some important issue was held, and during the debate, sub-titles generated by a computer would appear from time to time to alert the viewer that the speaker was not being truthful or was appealing to emotions or had facts wrong, etc. You would think that would be possible now with the supercomputers we have. However, the reality is that most voters don't watch the debates, and those that do simply cheer for their candidate and don't hear what they don't want to hear.
