Some kids may spend their summer going to day camp or summer school, but a San Antonio girl is spending her time off bowling in every state.
Brian: I typically lean conservative, but we need a cheap, public option. The public option should provide no frills, basic healthcare. Because I am healthy, I would buy into this option. It would not bother me that wait lines to see a doctor would likely be high. If someone wants a superior healthcare product, they can go out and buy that in the private sector. But, overall costs would come down since the private sector would have to compete with the cheaper, public option. Also, companies wishing to offer insurance to their employees could bargain for better rates since they would not be forced to buy anything if the costs are to high. Ultimately, healthcare would be like education. Public and Private options. I don't see any other way to decrease costs in this space.
