Bakersfield topped out at 97 degrees this afternoon. Still way above average, but down from back-to-back 100-degree days this apst weekend. Most locations will only reach the low 90s with widespread low 80s moving in by Thursday. Rain chances with this system are zero for our area and only slight from Sacramento north.
