Finally, winds are starting to calm down after one of the strongest April cold fronts we've seen in some time ! While winds on the valley floor did manage to reach beyond 30 mph this morning, wind gusts in the Mojave reached 75 mph ! High today only hit the upper 50s and low 60s but a big warmup is on the way with highs in the mid 80s moving in on the weekend. Rain totals were weak with this system but the Lake Isabella area picked up more than half an inch .57" We'll return to spring weather to
