Video shows touching post-Super Bowl moments with Chiefs’ Clyde Edwards-Helaire

As a rookie, running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire had 64 yards rushing in the Chiefs’ loss to the Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV.

The following season, the Chiefs lost in the AFC Championship Game, but they came back in 2022 and won Super Bowl LVII. However, Edwards-Helaire was inactive for that game.

Edwards-Helaire played last month in Super Bowl LVIII and was able to celebrate on the field.

The Chiefs’ “The Franchise” YouTube video series showed just how much getting that first Super Bowl victory meant to Edwards-Helaire, who was the team’s first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Fellow running back Isiah Pacheco met up with Edwards-Helaire on the field as the Chiefs’ celebration was taking place. Before the two embraced, tears filled Edwards-Helaire’s eyes. This was a sweet clip.

Later, Edwards-Helaire shared an emotional moment with linebacker Willie Gay Jr.

Gay’s time with the Chiefs is over as he signed a free-agent deal with the Saints. Edwards-Helaire is a free agent.
