Video shows man stealing puppy from Englewood family’s yard

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (KDVR) – The Anderson family is asking for help getting their puppy back.

The family’s surveillance video shows a person reaching over their fence and grabbing one of their eight American bully puppies from the front yard.

“When the puppy comes up to the fence, he reaches down, grabs him, snags him up under his shoulder, and almost drops him as he’s running,” said Barbara Anderson.

She says the theft happened Friday night at her Englewood home near Evans Avenue and Tejon Street.

“It was wrongful of that man to come up and take that dog,” she said.

Anderson said her adult dogs had puppies in January and she had planned to sell the puppies. The missing dog has a white face and gray body with a white ring around its middle.

If anyone spots the dog or the suspect, contact the Englewood Police Department’s non-emergency phone line at 303-761-7410.
