Video Premiere: Twiztid Debuts New Animated Video, 'Dead and Gone'

Those who are fans of horror, animation, comics, gaming, and rap are no doubt familiar with the duo Twiztid — who are purveyors of all mentioned. In fact, they are even releasing a brand-new comic book, which they will be signing at the upcoming New York ComicCon 2017 in October.

Twiztid: Haunted High-Ons is written by the demented duo themselves, along with famed comic writer Dirk Manning; it features illustration by renowned Italian artists Marianna Pescosta and Alessandro de Fornasari.

To add to the fun, Yahoo Music is excited to premiere the duo’s new animated music video for “Dead And Gone,” which is from their most recent full-length album, The Continuous Evilution of Life’s ?’s. This is their second animated video, considered a follow up to their 2009 video for “Buckets Of Blood.”

“We have talked about doing a REAL comic book for over a decade and it’s finally about to happen,” notes the duo. “If that’s not enough to put a smile on the ol’ face, then the fact our comic book will kick off at the New York ComicCon via the Source Point Booth with us, writer Dirk Manning and the creative team, is enough to leave us all laughing like lunatics!”

The New York ComicCon (@ New York’s Javits Center) signing will take place on Saturday, October 7 from 1-4pm at the Source Point Booth. For more information on the comic and signing, as well as Twiztid’s upcoming tour, visit here.
