Video Premiere: Dylan Dunlap Puts Fans in Charge for ‘Feels Right at Home’

Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Dylan Dunlap — whom fans might remember from his stint on The Voice — is in the midst of prepping the release for his long-awaited self-produced EP, Feels Right at Home. In order to get the ball rolling in the right direction, he took a unique approach to the video for the title track, putting his fanbase in charge of creating it!

Yahoo Music is pleased to debut the heartwarming “Feels Right at Home,” which utilizes a montage of clips from fans all around the world.

“What I want to do with this collaborative ‘fan-made’ music video is simple. I want to show that it truly doesn’t matter where you are in the world. Because of technology, connecting has never been easier,” explains Dunlap. “And with my platform as an artist, I love the idea of bringing everybody together to show the world that a music video doesn’t have to feature me, the singer-songwriter, as the main focus. From the U.S. to Germany, this small group of fans will have the full spotlight.”

In hopes of raising awareness on mental health, Dunlap will be donating 100 percent of the proceeds from the sales of his EP toward PSA Behavioral Health Agency in Phoenix. Their vision is to bring services to multiple communities by promoting hope, recovery, diversity, and wellness via innovative programs, affordable housing, and peer-directed treatment for children and adults with behavioral health issues.

His reasoning for the charitable gesture? “I simply want to take the focus off me for this project. I truly believe that these songs could do some good and will stop at nothing until I succeed in showing everyone that they don’t have to be alone in this world.”
