VIDEO: Person injured after food truck catches on fire near Washington Monument

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — DC Fire and EMS said a food truck located near the Washington Monument was on fire on Sunday afternoon.

Police: Man arrested in Newport News in connection to murder of Woodbridge woman

Crews said they were dispatched to the 200 block of Constitution Ave. for a vehicle fire.

First responders said the fire was extinguished as of 1:45 p.m.

One person was transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening burns.
