Video: Mayor calls for audit of police finances

Baltimore's mayor is calling for an independent audit of the Police Department's finances. The announcement Friday came on the heels of a federal indictment of seven city police officers who are charged in connection with a racketeering conspiracy and racketeering offenses, including robbing victims, filing false affidavits and making fraudulent overtime claims. The indictment uncovers a lack of financial oversight in the Police Department as officers were said to have bragged about being able to make more than $10,000 a month in overtime.
