Video: Judge calls indicted detective untrustworthy, danger to community

A federal judge in Baltimore denied bail Tuesday for a city police officer charged in a wide-reaching corruption case. Calling him untrustworthy, a flight risk and a danger to the community, the judge ordered Detective Jerome Hersl to remain in federal custody. Hersl is one of seven Baltimore City police officers federally indicted on charges of conspiracy and racketeering. The officers are accused of robbing victims, filing false affidavits and making false overtime claims.
