Video: Jewish community holds food bank as Passover starts

It is the first ceremony before the start of Passover, which begins Monday at sundown. It's a holiday that celebrates the Jews' liberation from Egypt. The Jewish community shared Monday in the burning or ridding of Chametz, that is any leavened' foods such as grain or barley or oats or any bread that will rise. Members of the Jewish community gathered at Pimlico Race Track Monday, where instead of ridding Chametz, they held a food drive. All of the food will be donated to a food bank in southern Park Heights, bridging the gap of two communities in that area.
