Two people died in an early morning house fire in east Baltimore that's being investigated as a case of arson, police said. Crews were dispatched just before 5 a.m. to the 1200 block of Greenmount Avenue. When crews arrived, they were faced with heavy smoke and fire showing from multiple floors of the home. During a search of the home, fire crews discovered two bodies on the third floor. Police identified the deceased as a teenage boy and a young man. Baltimore police media relations Chief T.J. Smith said whoever set the fire is "a psychopathic predator" and could have killed eight people.
