Video: DeAndre Jordan can't get enough of Chris Paul lip sync battling Snoop Dogg

Chris Paul suffered another heartbreaking loss — to a Los Angeles Lakers fan, no less — and this time nobody could blame team chemistry or even Los Angeles Clippers lore. But he can still blame the refs.

Appearing on Spike TV's "Lip Sync Battle," a self-explanatory game show hosted by rapper/actor/global icon LL Cool J and model Chrissy Teigen, Paul went toe to toe with Snoop Dogg, performing his foe's own 1994 hit "Gin and Juice" and then stealing the show with New Edition's 1983 classic "Candy Girl." Like when his Clippers were up 3-1 against the Houston Rockets last season, it was Paul's series to lose.

Then an admittedly stoned Snoop followed his predictable version of Bob Marley's "Could You Be Loved" with a show-stopping rendition of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'," complete with '80s hair and attire.

From the audience's perspective, Paul couldn't recover. But, man, that "Candy Girl" performance was fun. Showing no signs of the broken hand that ended his season with the Clippers still clinging to a first-round series leadagainst the Portland Trailblazers — perhaps because the show was filmed prior to the injury? — the perennial MVP candidate even dribbled a basketball during a choreographed dance routine.

He probably would've won if he'd performed last, so you couldn't have blamed Paul if he were this mad:

But Paul put up little resistance when Snoop was awarded the championship belt. For his part, Snoop conceded it was a hard-fought battle, telling Paul, "This is both our belt, I'm just gonna keep it at my house," which is what I hope Damian Lillard said when his Blazers ousted the Clippers in the first round.

And we probably shouldn't have been surprised by Paul's dance prowess, since Bleacher Report's Howard Beck revealed in his great feature piece, "The last days of Lob City? Inside the Clippers' Latest Playoff Demise," that the Clippers have an American Bandstand-style dance challenge after each win, with the last man in the locker room forced to bust a move through two lines of his awaiting teammates.

And who says team chemistry will be the Clippers' demise, since teammate DeAndre Jordan enjoyed Paul's "Candy Girl" performance more than anyone. (Although, Gin and juice may have been involved.)

Then again, that appears to be Josh Smith in the Dodgers jersey, so maybe we shouldn't read into it.
