The victim stated he was at Exxon talking to a man in all blue when they were approached by a male suspect, later identified as Vidarius Maggit.

Maggit reportedly got out of the rear passenger seat of a vehicle that was parked at a gas pump before asking them about a gun.

The victim stated he ran to the Mata Bus Station for help. He was then taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.

Maggit told police he then fired shots from his gun.

MPD says surveillance footage shows a white Ford Fusion pulling up to the gas station and stopping at the gas pump. Maggit gets out of the car and walks toward two males standing beside each other. Maggit is then seen pulling out a gun and shooting before getting back into the Ford Fusion and leaving the scene.

Vidarius Maggit is scheduled to appear in court on Monday morning.
