The Vetting Zoo to hold yard sale to benefit Gunner’s Crusade

(WHTM)– Thursday’s hometown heroes are hosting a yard sale for a cause.

Gunners Crusade Yard Sale will take place this Saturday morning at the Vetting Zoo in Palmyra. We caught up with volunteers organizing the donated items.

Gunner’s Crusade is a group that formed two years ago after a dog named Gunner was shot and killed.

Proceeds from the yard sale will help dogs that end up in a crisis situation.

“So that dogs that are caught in a disaster, house fire, car accident, even floods, anything like that, we want to be able to help them financially with vet care, food, even boarding, if need be,” Vetting Zoo owner Diane Ford said.
