Veterans Day 2021: Free meals, discounts and more at these restaurants

Many Jacksonville-area restaurants are offering free meals to veterans and active-duty military on Veterans Day, Thursday, Nov. 11. Note that restaurants may require proof of service to redeem offers.

Another Broken Egg Cafe: Free Patriot French Toast Combo and coffee on Nov. 11. Dine-in only.

Applebee's: Free entree from a special menu on Nov. 11. Military guests will receive a $5 bounce back card to redeem for dine-in, to-go or delivery within three weeks. Dine-in only.

BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse: Free meal from select menu and Dr Pepper on Nov. 11. Dine-in only.

Bob Evans: Free meal from a select menu of seven entrees on Nov. 11. Dine-in only.

Bonefish Grill: 10 percent off for service members, veterans and first responders offered every day with valid ID.

The Bread & Board: 50 percent off meal with valid ID on Nov. 11. Dine-in or pick-up.

California Pizza Kitchen: Free entree and beverage when showing proof of service on Nov. 11. Also, all veterans who dine in will receive a BOGO offer, redeemable Nov. 12-20. Dine-in only.

Carrabba's Italian Grill: 10 percent off for service members, veterans and first responders offered on Veterans Day and every day with valid ID.

Chili's: Free meal from a select menu of seven entrees on Nov. 11. Dine-in only.

Denny's: Free Build Your Own Grand Slam on Nov. 11, from 5 a.m. to noon. Dine-in only.

Dunkin: Free donut on Nov. 11. Dine-in only.

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill: Free military entree when you buy an entree on Nov. 11. Dine-in only.

4 Rivers Smokehouse: Free sandwich and two classic sides for veterans on Nov. 11. Dine-in or call ahead/pickup only.

Golden Corral: Free “thank you” meal on Military Appreciation Night, 5 p.m. to close on Nov. 11. Dine-in only.

Hooters: Free meal from Veterans Day menu with purchase of beverage. Dine-in only.

IHOP: Free Red, White & Blueberry Pancakes at participating locations on Nov. 11, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Dine-in only.

IKEA: Fre entree, salad and drink with valid military ID on Thursday, Nov. 11 and Friday, Nov. 12. Customers can choose to get their meal from the Bistro near the store entrance.

The Lab Bakery & Coffee Bar: Free cup of freshly brewed coffee and slice of poundcake for veterans on Nov. 11. (1580 Wells Road, Orange Park)

Metro Diner: 50 percent off for active duty and retired military with valid ID on Nov. 11 and 10 percent off every day.

Mission BBQ: Free sandwich on Nov. 11.

Pollo Tropical: Free Pollo Tropical Quarter Chicken Platter with two sides on

Red Lobster: Free appetizer or dessert from a special menu on Nov. 11. Dine-in only.

Red Robin: Free Red's Tavern Double Burger with Bottomless Steak Fries through Nov. 14 for Red Robin Royalty members as of Nov. 1. Dine-in or to-go.

Sonny's BBQ: Free Pork Big Deal sandwich on Nov. 11.

Starbucks: Free tall hot-brewed coffee on Nov. 11.

Texas de Brazil: Veterans and guests (up to 6 per table) receive 25% off their dinner through Nov. 11. Dine-in only.

Texas Roadhouse: From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 11, Jacksonville-area locations will distribute meal vouchers good for one free meal and beverage at the restaurant. Vouchers can be redeemed when the restaurants open for dinner that day or any day through May 30, 2022.

Wendy’s: Free breakfast combo on Nov. 11 at participating locations from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m.
