Jordan Reed out Sunday as Redskins head to Arizona

It looks as if our Washington Redskins will play the Arizona Cardinals without our great tight-end Jordan Reed. However, I am positive, have no doubt whatsoever that tight-end Vernon Davis will get the job done and make you Redskins fans proud. I expect the Cardinals to show why their defense if ranked as one of the best in the NFL. I do not take the Arizona Cardinals lightly. Like our Redskins the Cardinals have lost games they should have won and have a tie game also.

I expect the Cardinals offense to try to run the ball often and use their great running back David Johnson who has rushed over 100 yards in all the Cardinals games. One “Key to Victory” for our Redskins is to stop Johnson from gaining 1st downs, especially on 3rd downs. Larry Fitzgerald, 5 All Time Wide Receiver who can catch a bb at midnight is another weapon the Cardinals have that our defensive coordinator has to game plan for.

Of course the best way to stop Fitzgerald is to sack, rush, hit, hurry Cardinals quarterback Carlson Palmer.

Looking at the stats, although the Cardinals are favored by 2 1/2 points, our Redskins average about 55 yard more offensive yards than the Cardinals do. I feel our offense can score on any team and outscore the Cardinas by 14 points.

I have confidence in our coaching staff and red zone issues will be corrected and quarterback Kirk Cousins will lead us to 4 touchdowns plus one or two fieldgoals by Dustin Hopkins who will get out of his slump. I like Kendall Fuller, but I am glad to see Greg Toler and Dashaun Phillips active. Like famous Redskins coach George Allen, I prefer veterans on defense.

“Over The Hill Gang”: Memories of Cards, Washington

Rookies make mental mistakes.

It is time for Donte Whitner, Sr to show why General Manger Scot McCloughan made him a Washington Redskins safety. Greg Toler had a pick 6 when he was with the Arizona Cardinals for 100 yards and I want to see him do that for our Redskins.

Time for our team to man up on defense, tackle better, stop that run, get the ball back to our explosive offense. Can you imagine if our defense was like the Vikings defense with the offense we have. OMG, 17 and 0 baby!, let’s go defense! time to start “ballin”. Time to get turnovers these last 5 games. Get stops on 3rd down plays. See more sacks, hits, hurries, interceptions. Let your play talk instead of your mouth! Hit like you mean it, slobberknocker hits. make their mama feel it. Let the Cardinals know what its like to face Redskins on a Warpath!.

I expect the Steelers to beat the NY Giants who are a game ahead of us. I also expect the Cowboys to beat the Giants also. I know we will have to beat the Giants ourselves to make the playoffs, Then everybody is even, 0 and 0. We can beat the Cowboys in the playoffs and make up for letting them sweep us. It all begins with the Arizona Cardinals Sunday.

Time to dominate both sides of the line of scrimmage. Let’s go Redskins. HTTR.

Redskins win 34 to 21.
