Vera Bradley chief financial officer Blade steps down, search under way for replacement
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) -- Vera Bradley Inc. said Friday that its chief financial and administrative officer Jeffrey Blade has resigned to pursue other opportunities.
The handbag and accessories company said a search for a replacement is under way. Blade held the position since 2010, according to the company website.
Vera Bradley appointed Kevin Sierks as interim CFO until a permanent replacement is found. Sierks is the company's controller and chief accounting officer, a position he has held since 2011.
The Fort Wayne, Ind., company's shares fell 10 cents to close at $23.40.
