8 vehicles caught fire outside of Hard Rock Stadium during Dolphins game, firefighters say
The Miami Dolphins won their season opener against the New England Patriots on Sunday — but not before smoke billowed outside of Hard Rock Stadium after a fire erupted in the parking lot.
At around 1:30 p.m., multiple vehicles were burning in a remote parking lot outside the football stadium, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said in a news release. A smoke column could be seen from the stands, a video tweeted by WSVN sports anchor Josh Moser shows, but firefighters said no one was injured.

Over 10 fire crews extinguished the blaze, which charred eight parked vehicles, according to the fire department.
