Vehicle rolled over after driving off road in Hobart, driver pronounced dead at hospital

HOBART, Wis. (WFRV) – A 27-year-old woman died when her vehicle rolled over off of Orlando Drive in Hobart just after midnight on Sunday.

According to the Hobart-Lawrence Police Department, the incident happened around 12:50 a.m. on March 10 when the woman crashed into a ditch on Orlando Drive near South Pine Tree Road.

Emergency Services Personnel began lifesaving efforts on the scene and the 27-year-old Hobart resident was taken to a local hospital.

Despite lifesaving efforts, the woman was later pronounced dead.

Officers say an initial investigation showed that her SUV was heading east on Orlando Drive when it left the road and hit some trees before rolling over.

The Hobart-Lawrence Police Department was assisted by the following agencies:

  • Oneida Police Department

  • Hobart Fire Department

  • Lawrence Fire Department

  • County Rescue

  • Brown County Communications Center

The crash remains under investigation and no other information has been released.
