Vehicle hits gas station north of Topeka

Update 10 a.m.: Phillips 66 Operations Director Thomas Miller said an elderly man likely was in drive instead of reverse when he hit the building. Miller said there is no risk of fire. A 27 News reporter at the scene said the car had been removed and the scene is no longer active. The gas station is currently closed.

TOPEKA (KSNT) – A vehicle crashed into a Phillips 66 gas station Friday morning.

Just before 9 a.m. on March 15, first responders got a call for an injury crash in the 4200 block of Northwest Topeka Boulevard. A Topeka Police Department spokeswoman said no injuries were reported but medical care was provided to the driver.
