Vehicle drives through structure in Bedford

BEDFORD, Va. (WFXR)– The Bedford Fire Department responded to a vehicle that crashed into a building on Friday, May 10.

According to the fire department, crews from the Special Operations Command Task Force responded to the 1200 block of West Lynchburg Salem Turnpike. Crews arrived to find a vehicle drove through the front left side of the structure.

Crews immediately began shoring operations and worked for two hours to ensure that the building was secure.
