Vehicle crashes into backyard in Hammond, man killed
HAMMOND, La. (WGNO) — Deputies with the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office are investigating a crash that left a man dead in Hammond on Saturday, May 18.
The TPSO reported deputies responded to a crash on Bankston Road around 11:30 p.m. TPSO officials said the fatal crash happened near the Copper Hill subdivision, where a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Teens accused of trying to steal cars in St. Rose arrested
They said an initial investigation shows a Jeep allegedly involved in a hit-and-run was driving away from the area when it traveled off the road, into a backyard and hit multiple fences.
