Vehicle crash downs utility pole, closes road in York County

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) – A York County thoroughfare is closed after police say a vehicle crash downed a utility pole.

The crash happened around 4:16 p.m. at Springwood Road and Owen Road in York Township, southeast of the city.

Breaking News

York County Regional Police shared few details on the crash, noting that possible injuries were reported.

They also said a utility pole and wires were taken down and were across the roadway.

Springwood Road is closed as of 6:30 p.m. between Queenswood Road and Donna Lane while repairs are made.
