Vehicle crash on I-81 in Roanoke County cleared

UPDATE 6:38 P.M. ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR)– VDOT has cleared the vehicle crash on I-81 in Roanoke County.

ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR)– The Virginia Department of Transportation says drivers can expect delays on I-81 in Roanoke County due to a vehicle crash near mile marker 142.9.

As of 4:42 p.m., the north right lane and right shoulder, and the south right shoulder are closed. Traffic backups are currently around six miles northbound and four miles southbound.
