VBPD seeking to identify suspect in HRT bus malicious wounding

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia Beach Police are looking to identify the suspect in a malicious wounding incident on an HRT bus Thursday, police said.

The incident was reported around 10:15 p.m. The suspect was on the bus when the victim go on at the Corporation Lane and Constitution Drive bus stop. An argument broke out between the two and the suspect allegedly told the victim she was going to “kill her today,” before pulling something from her back pocket and hitting the victim, police said.

The victim suffered non life-threatening injuries. The suspect left the bus and walked in the direction of Pembroke Mall and was unable to be located.
