VBPD: Drivers in hospital with serious injuries after two-vehicle crash

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — The Virginia Beach Police Department responded to a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night that resulted in serious injuries, police said.

The incident occurred at Virginia Beach Boulevard and Aragona Boulevard just before 9:30 p.m.. The two drivers were transported to a local hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries, police said.

Eastbound Virginia Beach Boulevard was shut down for a period of time as result of the crash.

The cause is under investigation.
