Team Vitality has signed support Oskar “VandeR” Bogdan to its 2017 EU LCS Summer Split League of Legends roster, the organization announced Wednesday. After a split on Challenger Series team FC Schalke 04, the star support player will be returning to the LCS.

According to the announcement, new Team Vitality head coach Jakob “YamatoCannon” Mebdi is looking to field an entirely European roster. As a result, Korean imports like mid laner Lee “GBM” Chang-seok, support Ha “Hachani” Seung-chan, and former head coach Heo “Irean” Yeong-cheol won’t remain on the team for Summer. Previously, Vitality had stated that Irean would be remaining on the team in a new role.

The current Vitality roster is as follows:

  • Lucas “Cabochard” Simon-Meslet – Top

  • Charly “Djoko” Guillard – Jungle

  • Erlend “Nukeduck” Våtevik Holm – Mid

  • Pierre “Steeelback” Medjaldi – AD carry

  • Oskar “VandeR” Bogdan – Support

VandeR has a long history in European League of Legends since qualifying for the LCS back in 2014, having played for Team ROCCAT and H2K Gaming, reaching the semifinals of the 2016 World Championship with the latter.

The League of Legends mid-season roster swaps are well under way, with Nubar “Maxlore” Safarian replacing Lee “KaKAO” Byung-kwon on Misfits, Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng officially back on Team SoloMid, and Immortals dropping strategic coach David “Hermes” Tu.
